Melting for a cure and more
It’s sad to say that almost everyone you come in contact has been touched by cancer in some way. Maybe you have it, maybe you’re survived it, but chances are more than likely that you know someone who has it. Every year for the past three years I’ve chaired the Windham County Relay for life.
Windham County Relay is June 26th at BUHS
With an economic slow down making things harder we are now launching a few different things:
1. Melting for a cure:
If you watched the Video on the front page you know the basic jist is you pay $5.00 to guess what the height the pile of snow will be at Noon on the 26th and we’ll award you half the proceeds.

2. Jump for Cure
Patti Dandrea, Lynn Comley & Angie Murphy are jumping out of a perfectly good airplane to raise awareness and money for the cause. If you’re interested in sponsoring them, they will be wearing t-shirts the day of the jump and you can have your companies logo on all 3 shirts for only $100.00.
3. Service organization challenge
If you serve the Rotary Club, Lions Club, Elks, Eagles, Kiwanis or any organization like that than we put it out to you to raise money for this years Relay.
It’s pretty simple - we need to raise money so that we can find a cure for this disease. We’ve come leaps and bounds in the last few years but we need to erratic it all together and we can’t do it with out your help.
